New York Methodist Hospital is pleased to welcome you to our website.  The site was recently updated to better reflect the depth and breadth of medical programs offered at NYM.  It includes a wealth of user-friendly information about our institution, our services and healthcare in general. 

We are very proud of the 125 years of service that New York Methodist has given to the Brooklyn community.  Our success is rooted in our willingness to embrace productive change and to continue to grow by increasing and continuously enhancing the services we provide.  We are one of only three Brooklyn Hospitals to provide a full spectrum of cardiology and cardiac surgery services. We have enhanced our medical programs by introducing new technology, facilities and expert physicians, in many areas, including advanced neurosurgery, radiation oncology, interventional pulmonology, and laparoscopic gynecology.  And we have worked to extend services to prevent disease and improve the health of Brooklynites, through programs like our Diabetes Education and Resource Center, our Pediatric Weight Control Programs and our Breastfeeding Support Program.
