Pediatric primary care - ranging from routine physicals to diagnosing and treating disease - is offered in several venues at New York Methodist Hospital.

Park Slope Pediatric Medicine, P.C., is a group practice of pediatricians who serve on the teaching faculty of the Hospital. All of the doctors in the practice are board certified.

The main goal of the practice is to provide comprehensive primary care to children of all ages: from birth through adolescence. Along with a routine program of examinations and immunizations, the pediatrician will regularly evaluate the child's overall growth and development and provide guidance on issues relating to nutrition, safety, and accident prevention and parenting. Vision, hearing, and laboratory screening tests are provided on site as needed.

Located in the Hospital's new medical pavilion at 263 Seventh Avenue, the practice is open weekdays and some evenings. The practice also maintains a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week on-call service.
