Chemotherapy and Infusion Therapies -- 718.499.2169
At New York Methodist, people needing treatment for cancer and blood and immune system disorders may receive therapy either in the Hospital as an overnight stay or in an ambulatory setting. In an ambulatory setting, you make an appointment, show up for your treatment and then go home the same day. Your treatments could take place in either a physicians office or an infusion center.
In our spacious, modern and easily accessible infusion center, located at 343 Fourth Avenue (cross street is 5th Street in Park Slope), we provide services and therapies that include chemotherapy and other transfusions, injections, and blood draws.
In addition to treating all forms of cancer, we offer therapy for blood disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohns disease, anemias and osteoporosis.
Our highly trained medical team includes board-certified oncologists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and pharmacists. The Center is wheelchair accessible.
In addition, the new Center offers:
- Private rooms with TVs and wireless Internet access
- Comfortable lounge for family members
- Patient education center with the latest medical information
- Kitchen for patients, stocked with juices, sandwiches and other snacks
- Beautifully designed interior space, with natural sunlight and a cheerful, tranquil decor
