Surgical Weight Loss (Bariatric Surgery)
Welcome to NYM's Surgical Weight Reduction Center! We are recognized by The American Society of Bariatric Surgery as a "Center of Excellence" in Bariatric Surgery.
Our Center is a hospital-based program providing treatment for severely obese individuals who have not been able to achieve success through non-operative means. The Program is staffed by highly trained surgeons, by specialties, and by support personnel including nutritionists, physiologists, and clinical social workers.

Insurance Coverage for Surgery

Attend an Informational Session and/or Support Group!
- Informational Sessions are the second Wednesday of each month from 6 - 8pm and the fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Both are located in the Executive Dining Room at 506 Sixth Street. Register by calling 718.780.3288.
- Our Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm in the same location as the informational sessions. Please join us!
