For patients suffering from neurological disorders, the road to recovery is smoother thanks to the advanced rehabilitation services offered at NYM. The inclusion of rehabilitation services in the Institute for Neurosciences allows for the diagnosis and
treatment of patients with neurological disorders. We also offer physical, occupational and speech language pathology assessment and treatment services.

The rehabilitation team works together to develop a comprehensive plan for each patient with the goal of achieving greater independence and quality of life. We offer both inpatient and outpatient programs such as acupuncture, musculoskeletal (including hand and foot) pain management testing, electromyography/nerve conduction, sports medicine, spasticity management/botox injection, and orthotic, prosthetic and wheel chair evaluations and prescriptions.
