New York Methodist Hospital is offering, without charge, a new Emergency Handbook and Physicians Directory. This valuable handbook provides easy to understand illustrations and diagrams as well as step-by-step instructions on what to do in cases of:

• CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
• Choking (Heimlich Maneuver)
• Animal and insect bites
• Eye injuries
• Fainting
• Frostbite
• Head injuries
• Heat exhaustion and heat stroke
• Poisoning
• Seizures

The Handbook also provides information about the different services provided by New York Methodist and a list of physicians who are affiliated with the Hospital.
