Certified by the Commission on Cancer, New York Methodist promotes a multifaceted approach to treating cancer such as combining surgery, radiation and chemotherapy if necessary. A NYM surgeon serves as Liaison to the Commission on Cancer to promote multidisciplinary treatment planning, education, and community outreach.
