Welcome to NYM's Surgical Weight Reduction Center! We are recognized by The American Society of Bariatric Surgery as a "Center of Excellence" in Bariatric Surgery.
Our Center is a hospital-based program providing treatment for severely obese individuals who have not been able to achieve success through non-operative means.
The program is staffed by highly trained surgeons, by specialties, and by support personnel including nutritionists, physiologists, and clinical social workers.

Attend an Informational Session and/or Support Group!
- Informational Sessions are the second Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm and the fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm. Both are located in the Executive Dining Room at 506 Sixth Street. Register by calling 718.780.3288.
- Our Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm in the same location as the informational sessions. Please join us!
