Learning Opportunities for Schools and Parent Groups
SchoolTalks, SchoolTours, and more
New York Methodist Hospital is pleased to offer a variety of age-appropriate educational programs to elementary and secondary schools in our community. Teachers may use these programs to enrich health, science, or social studies curricula.
SchoolTours of the Hospital often provide an exciting field trip and learning experience for children.
SchoolTalks can provide an opportunity for children to learn from a health professional in their own classroom or school auditorium. SchoolTalks for parent groups allow parents to meet at their school and engage directly with NYM health professionals on how to keep their children safe and healthy.
To arrange for any of the programs described above, please contact the Department of Public Affairs by email or call 718.780.5367.
Be ready to discuss the type of program that you require and to suggest
several alternate dates. Requests must be communicated at least six weeks prior to the requested date.
