Mother Baby Unit Ambassadors:

• Meet one on one with mothers who are soon to be discharged
• Help to answer any questions or concerns of the new mothers and fathers
• Offer emotional support to the new parents
• Assist the lactation consultants with the daily breast feeding classes

This program offers direct patient interaction as well as the opportunity to network with other registered nurses.  You will learn first hand about the post delivery experience and best nursing practices on a postpartum unit.

Requirements:

Two, four-hour shifts per week for a minimum of six months

Shifts are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
