Ginny Papper and Shorty, Pet Therapy Team,
"This is the best job a dog could hope to get. It's a dream job for any dog who has a sweet disposition, is calm, and loves people and children.  Our pets bring real joy to everyone in the Hospital."

Canine Cuddlers

Harness some positive energy.

With the wag of a tail, NYM Canine Cuddlers volunteers bring smiles to faces throughout the Hospital in areas such as the physical therapy gymnasium, the geriatric and adult psychiatric units, and the pediatric floors. As a Canine Cuddlers volunteer, you and your four-legged partner can reduce stress, promote healing, lower blood pressure and lift the spirits of patients, families and staff in the Hospital.
