Scott Hirschfeld, Ambassador Volunteer
"My favorite thing about being an Ambassador Volunteer is when a family member flashes a warm smile and lets you know that your presence was a comfort, that's a great feeling."

Ambassador Program

Rosalyn Carter said it best, "There are only four kinds of people in the world those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers."

Being a patient in a hospital or having a loved one as a hospital patient can be incredibly scary and stressful. The Ambassador Volunteers visit with patients and caregivers providing information, offering a listening ear, supportive words and caring smiles. Volunteers can be a great help just by letting the patients and caregivers know that they are not alone.

We are currently recruiting new volunteers to help us grow and expand this program. We are looking for compassionate, outgoing adult volunteers to help us care for the patients and caregivers.
