Application to Volunteer at NYM

How to Apply to Volunteer

  • First, click here to verify that you are applying to a program which has availability and is a good fit for you.
  • Complete our online application here. Be sure to answer the "About You" questions.
  • We respond within forty-eight hours to those applicants who we feel we can appropriately match to a program and invite them to make an appointment for an interview.
  • After the interview, if accepted to a program, you will need to attend all required orientations, workshops, and trainings necessary for your placement of choice and complete our medical clearance process.
  • It takes 3-5 weeks to be processed and to get started as an NYM volunteer.
