Peds Pals Program 

Peds Pals Volunteers are placed in New York Methodist Hospitals Inpatient Pediatric Unit. Volunteers go room to room visiting with patients helping to cheer them up by playing board games, card games, reading stories and coloring.

Our Inpatient Pediatric Unit admits patients from birth to age 21 so volunteers get to interact with a variety of ages.


We are looking for energetic and compassionate volunteers to take part in this program.

Requirements:
Minimum Age: 18
Minimum Time Commitment: One shift per week for a minimum of six months.

Times:
7 days a week: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 12-2 p.m., 6-8 p.m.

Retirees, Working Professionals and College Students
