Sparks of Life Program
Sparks of Life Volunteers
New York Methodist's Sparks of Life program is a wonderful way for talented and creative individuals to share their skills and brighten a patient's day. Volunteers might sing and play
music, share yoga or relaxation techniques, or lead patients through an arts
and crafts project.
We are seeking talented and enthusiastic people to brighten the days of
patients on the pediatric, physical rehabilitation, geriatric and acute
psychiatry, and oncology units. Volunteers include professional musicians, singers,
artists, puppeteers, certified yoga instructors, clowns, magicians, and more.
Because of the unique nature of this program,
we welcome both ongoing and episodic volunteers.
