Ways to Give

The steadfast support of our donors has helped to make New York Methodist Hospital a leading healthcare provider in our community. Please consider making a gift online. Your generosity helps NYM develop opportunities for new programs and services for our patients.

Click here for the 2013-2014 Annual Report to the Community to see our supporters and how NYM is committed to maintaining its focus on the true big picture: the patient.

Center for Community Health Building Campaign

Our Center for Community Health (CCH) is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility that will begin construction later this year. The CCH is the Hospital's response to an increasing need for ambulatory services that will help us better serve Brooklyn. Click here for more information about becoming an early supporter of our campaign to help fund the CCH construction. Donate.

Red Stocking (Annual Giving Program)

Throughout the year it's important to give back by helping those less fortunate, especially members of our own community. NYM's Red Stocking campaign, initiated in 1925, is our ongoing program that helps patients in need in our Brooklyn community. The annual
Red Stocking Soirée "Taste of Brooklyn" fundraiser spreads awareness about this long-standing program. Donate.

Special Events (Candlelight Gala/Golf Outing)

Twice each year, benefactors, staff and supporters of NYM gather for special events which raise money for patient care, medical education and clinical research. Save the date for the 2016 Candlelight Gala on Saturday, May 14.

George Ingraham Seney Society

The Seney Society is a distinguished group of individuals who have carried on the tradition of support begun by George Ingraham Seney, the Hospital's first major donor. Unrestricted gifts totaling $1,500 or more throughout the year provide membership. See the 2014 Seney Society Members. Members receive an exclusive invitation to a cocktail celebration and distinct recognition on a plaque in the Carrington Pavilion. Donate.

Business Circle of Health

The Business Circle of Health, launched in 2014, is a network of business and corporate supporters who believe in the Hospital's mission. Membership provides opportunities to become part of the Hospital's "inner circle". Contributions made to this program help NYM provide resources to areas where they are needed most. Honoring a Nurse or Doctor

Healers' Hall of Fame (Grateful Patient Program)

The Healers' Hall of Fame is a tribute program celebrating staff and recognizing their extraordinary efforts to make NYM a wonderful place in which to heal. For a gift of $50 or more you can induct a caregiver and for a gift of $100 or more you can induct a Hospital department into our annual Healers' Hall of Fame. All inductees receive a certificate, membership pin, and a message of thanks letting them know who honored them. Click here for our brochure. Donate.

1881 Society

The 1881 Society was established in 2011—the year that marked our Hospital's 130th anniversary—to honor and recognize supporters who have shown their commitment with an unrestricted gift for at least three consecutive calendar years. See the 2014 1881 Society Members. Donate.

NYM Tree of Life - Tribute Gift

Tree of Life/Tribute Gift

Our Tree of Life, located in the Hospital's Carrington Pavilion, provides an opportunity to celebrate the lives of our Brooklyn community. From branch to branch, donors perpetuate the memory of loved ones and celebrate many joyous occasions. To make a personal tribute with an inscribed leaf or stone, contact our Department of Development at 718.501.6880. Donate.

Naming Opportunities

We offer a variety of customized naming opportunities, including opportunities to name units, patient rooms and programs, depending on the size of a gift and a donor's interests. Named facilities are generally recognized with a commemorative plaque, while named programs are recognized in Hospital publications.
