Roxanne Michele Serville, Ambassador Volunteer,
"Giving back has become even more important in these difficult times we're living in, and I've always seemed to be the 'go to' person that my family and friends reach out to when they need a 'sympathetic ear' to listen to them.   As long as you have health and strength you need to give back.  I truly enjoy it."

Ambassador Program

Help make connections that matter.

Ambassadors may not be entirely able to remove stress from the Hospital experience, but they can contribute in ways that help patients and their families be less anxious. By proactively addressing questions, concerns and requests, ambassadors complement and enhance the work of our medical staff. As a volunteer ambassador, you will work to alleviate concerns by educating patients about staff resources, roles and responsibilities and by providing information about the Hospital as a whole. Through friendly conversations and bedside visits, you will support patients and their families with compassion and care, serving as an extra set of eyes and ears to create a high quality, patient centered experience.

We would love to hear from you if you are:
compassionate, outgoing, able to focus on high quality service delivery, an effective communicator, attentive to details

Minimum Commitment:
One three-hour shift per week for a minimum of six months

Times: Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm or 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
